Cardholder Security
With the rise in credit card fraud, there is an ever-increasing focus on protecting consumer data. To help prevent the theft of card data, the major card associations have developed the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.
The PCI Data Security Standard includes twelve well-defined requirements, and it applies to all merchants that process, transmit, or store cardholder data. Failure to comply with the standard can lead to significant fines, expensive recovery costs, inability to accept cards as a form of payment and damage to your reputation.
Wind River Financial has partnered with Security Metrics - a certified security assessment company - to provide an easy-to-use compliance program. This program, which consists of a self-assessment questionnaire along with periodic certified network security scans, guides you through the compliance process, and it identifies any remedial action which may be necessary. Enrollment is easy and the cost is minimal. To enroll or learn more about security compliance, select a link below.
