October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM). It’s a collaboration of government and industry created to heighten awareness of cyber threats and educate Americans on ways to defend themselves and their businesses. At Wind River, pretty much every month is Cybersecurity Awareness month as we continuously keep a close watch for emerging threats to our customers and their data.
Wind River has compiled a list of six current cyber threats that can inflict significant damage if not proactively addressed. We will be reviewing these threats and detailing the protective measures you need to engage in an upcoming Facebook Live event.

Derek Laczniak, partner and senior account executive director of cyber practice at M3 Insurance, is a recognized leader in the cyber security risk management landscape. In his director role, Derek serves as a cyber security strategist and advisor for organizations of varying sizes and scopes, helping them manage risk through preventative controls and formal risk transfer mechanisms.
