15th Anniversary Celebration

Wind River is celebrating its 15th year at Lake Lawn Resort! We will meet there the morning of September 19th. Wind River will provide meals, activities and an overnight stay for you and a guest. We hope to see you there!

We will meet for lunch at 11:30am on Saturday the 19th at Lake Lawn Terrace (or Champions Restaurant if rain) and afterwards you and your guest may choose a resort activity for the afternoon, courtesy of Wind River.

Activity options are as follows:

Golf: 18 holes with cart included. First opened in 1921, Lake Lawn's championship golf course is one of the Midwest's premier golf destinations. Set amid over 250 lush, tree-lined acres, the course was masterfully re-engineered in 1990 by renowned architect Dick Nugent (of Kemper Lakes fame). It is best known for its stately oaks, deep sand bunkers, and subtle undulations. Each hole is set with multiple tee boxes for players of all abilities. Lake Lawn's greens are often the topic of conversation in the Clubhouse Sports Bar & Grill because of their undulation and many tiers.
DRESS CODE: collared shirts and slacks or tailored shorts. Soft spikes only, please.

Boat Tour: There are only handful of places left in the country where mail is still delivered by boat and none with a more exciting and scenic tour like this! With nearly 100 years of mail service, we still deliver mail to about 75 homes around the lake. Come and enjoy the scenic wonders of this enchanting historical glacier made spring fed lake; it’s a magnificent, restful experience you will forever cherish. A leisurely cruise past the estates, many built between 1870 and 1920, will serve to remind you and your guests of past elegance. The Walworth is also known also as the U.S. Mailboat. The main and aft decks are enclosed and climate controlled. The upper deck is open to the fresh air with clear side curtains if weather requires.

Fishing: Join a guided fishing outing on Lake Delavan. Guided Trips Include: boats, bait, rods & reels, and licensed guides. All you need is a fishing license. If you don’t have an annual license, 1 day fishing licenses are available on the WI DNR website for $8.
WHAT TO BRING: Wisconsin fishing license, Camera, Warm Jacket, Hat, Rain Gear, Sunglasses, Snacks & Drinks

PEDICURE: Once in the pedicure stations, you may not want to leave. A Calladora pedicure includes a relaxing soak, nail grooming, exfoliation, a foot and calf massage completed with the polish of your choice.
